It has been a long time since I've been on here.  It hasn't changed much for my daughter and me these last several months.  Maybe gotten worse, maybe stays the same, really. Just like so many other struggly people on this site and all over the world, we are constantly struggling to just get a breath arean't we?  Who was it that said money can't buy you happiness?  Must have been rich.  It sure can buy a big down payment for it.  lol. Anyway, I've seen that it is very difficult in Orange County, California to get anyone to help. I am confused as to where all of these charities send their donations, because I have called a list of over 20 places, diligently for the past four months.  On the first of the month, I'm told they haven't received the funds, by the second of the month when I call, i get told the funds are spent.  All in less than 1 day?  Seriously. I'm a working single mother.  there are supposed to be tons of grants and/or help for ANYONE let alone someone with a child that already has a job.  This economy is a killer.  As  a server, i rely on my tips.  When nobody comes into the place, I get no tips.  Don't people still eat anymore?  Thank goodlness for the restaurant, or we wouldn't eat like we do. I had my car stolen this last weekend so it is twice as hard now to get around to ry to find any work.  I am 500 short for rent this month and the landlord is basically irritated beyond with me and my "excuses" as he puts it.  I'm beginning to think I'd be better off in a shelter. Or if i had no job. Then I could play all day with my daughter and not worry a bout rent.  So here goes.  I'm gonna post on here and everywhere I can trying to find anyone that could help donate, loan, direct how to get some money.  I really hope to find one of those car programs that can help get me into a car.  I see there are programs that lease to single working moms, just nothing in california really.  Hope everyone is well....

Hello, I am a stay at home father of our beautiful 17 month old daughter my wife was lucky enough to find work as we were both laid off I on the other hand not so lucky At age 42 I have not been able to find any work since March 5th 2008 when my job was elimanated as the company downsized . we can not afford day care I am trying to find graveyard shift work anywhere with out any luck thus far after the last unempolyment extention was exosted I had sold collectibles and everything i owned on ebay having to let it go for what ever I could sell it for just to help with food , diapers, bills no I have no funds left. and nothing left to sell . I have a bad tooth that the large filling fell out of so it is fuly open and exposed and it hurts badly but I do not say anything to my wife because we have more important issues I need help with work  I Live in California int the city of Orange my email is actionmike67@yahoo.com

My daughters family needs hellp for christmas they have 5 children 15 girl 12 boy 8 girl 2 boy  5 weeks girl the kids really  need jackets and shoes my daughters husband was tranferred to danville illinois for his job what a nightmare. they were robbed the first month they were there took everything of value in  50 minutes they went to get kids from school came back house ransacked.Then the 2 year old got sick in hospital for 3 weeks finally found out he has gastroparesis  which is a diease that he cannot eat unless he takes medication that costs 150 dollars a month their insurance doesnt cover the company sent my son in law back to  california where they are having it rough we help as much as we can but my husband retired and we both have medical  issues also if this medication stops working for my grandson they have to put in a feeding tube he could also  use  cans  if ensure as he has to drink those on top of what he eats they have had a rough year and would  like to see some happiness for them at end of year please help them u can email me at bama472004@yahoo.com if u can help thank you

Hello to everyone!

I feel really strange by writting to this post, since this is my first time doing this and exposing my experience to people. I want you to know that I am sincere and thruthful about my situation. I am a single mother and I have a son which is 10 yrs of age and he is wonderful. I was in a abusive relationship and had a hard time with the separation because of my son and have no child support or any other help. On top of everything I lost my job and was not working for several months  and due to this situation it was either my child housing or car insurance. I could not make that payment and worst of all I get into a car accident and this was our primarly transposrtation and don't have a car. The insurance won't cover for my car and I still owe my car and I have to continue making payments on the car. My car is fixable but I don't have the funds to do it. I need any help from any organizations or body shops that are willing to help. I just want my car to be fixed, that is all. I really hope that somebody can help me or direct me into resources that I can look into to get help.

I have a wife with serious lupis, I have diabedes one, my brother is retarted and we take care of him. I am 64 yre old and all my life I wanted to give my family an house but never could afford one. Maybe someone could donate some money so my dream of owning a house could come true before I die. Thank you for anything you can donate it will be deeply appreciated!

I am one of those families in an extreme crunceh.  I am loseing my home. I have 5 children and I am an emotional reck.  I am recovering from spinal meningitis...how I got it I have no idea.  But all the insurance in the world could not save my life from becoming an emotional and financal reck.

I am in desperate need of funds to pay this mortgage...or rather catch it up.  It can be done but with the tight money...I can't do it.  Any and  all help is appreciated...from one dollar to ten dollars to a hundred  and on and on... or if you know of any person or organization that can help a family in crisis "thank God" for you.   ready willing and able to accept any help available.

I need help, I just wanted to know if its less expensive to just have my teeth pulled and get dentures or if i can fix them which would be less expensive. My teeth are terrible I am so embarrased and I feel like it is all I think about and it is really ruining alot of my days(not including the pain).I have 2 jobs and am a good person who has bad teeth. I am so tired of being afraid to smile or even open my mouth. So if someone can help I would be forever indebted to you. I am getting mmarried in a few months and I would love to be able to actually smile in my wedding pictures!
